Add the HFCR Quick Links Button to Google Chrome

Overview

The HFCR Quick Links button gives you easy access to important school resources directly in your Chrome bookmarks bar. To make it appear, you’ll need to sign in to Chrome with your school account and enable sync.

Steps

1. Open Chrome

   Launch Google Chrome on your computer.

2. Sign in or turn on sync

   • In the upper-right corner, click the circle icon next to the three dots.

   • Click the blue “Turn on sync…” button.

   • If you’ve used Chrome before, the button may say “Sign in again” instead.

3. Sign in with your HFCR account

   • Enter your school email address (@hfcristorey.org).

   • Enter your password.

   • Complete two-step verification if prompted.

4. Confirm managed account

   • You’ll see a message that your account is managed by the school (bookmarks, history, etc. may be accessed if necessary).

   • Click the blue “Continue” button.

5. Review privacy settings (optional)

   • You may see a window about Enhanced Ad Privacy.

   • To disable, click “Settings.”

   • To keep the default setting, click “Got it.”

6. Enable sync

   • If prompted again, click your profile circle in the top-right and select “Turn on sync…”

   • In the “Turn on sync” window, ensure Bookmarks is included.

   • Click “Yes, I’m In.”

7. Access Quick Links

   • Once sync is on, the HFCR Quick Links button will appear in your bookmarks bar.

   • This menu provides fast access to school resources.
