What to expect: IT resets the password and you’ll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on next sign-in.
Steps (User):
Use the temporary password sent to your email to log in.
When prompted, enroll 2FA (passkey preferred).
Save backup codes in a safe place.
Steps (IT): Reset account → send temp creds → verify user completes 2FA enrollment.
