How to Set Up Your HFCR Email Signature

Overview


To maintain a consistent, professional appearance, all staff should use the standard HFCR email signature. A simplified version is also available for use in replies and forwards.


Standard Signature Template


Replace items in blue with your information, and change the text color back to black. Do not alter fonts, colors, or formatting.

Use this shorter version for reply/forward emails if you prefer:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Gmail settings

    • Go to mail.google.com.

    • Log in with your @hfcristorey.org account.

    • Click the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right.

    • Select “See all settings.”

  2. Create your signature

    • Scroll to the Signature section.

    • Click “Create New.”

    • Name it (e.g., “Standard Signature”).

    • Copy/paste the template above.

    • Replace placeholders with your information.

    • If you use a logo, be sure it is linked to a publicly available logo so that it does not appear as a broken link

  3. (Optional) Add a simplified signature

    • Click “Create New” again.

    • Copy/paste the simplified template.

  4. Set defaults

    • Choose your Standard Signature for new emails.

    • Choose Simplified Signature (if created) for replies/forwards.

  5. Save changes

    • Scroll to the bottom.

    • Click “Save Changes.”
